There is no "one best diet plan" for everyone. In Sensable Health, we will explore many options for establishing what nutrition plan works best for each of our participants. As a general rule, we do try to establish a healthy balance between the macronutrients, but do so in different ways for different people. We also generally recommend a "whole food, plant centered" approach to nutrition, which focuses on eating mainly vegetables, fruits and lean animal protein, while limiting highly processed foods. Although the Sensable Health program does not advocate a specific "diet", the Mediterranean Diet is generally well aligned with our nutritional philosophy and approach. Additionally, each individual’s plan may be changed during the course of the Sensable Health program depending on the needs and progress of our participants.
